What is a guardian home?
At Howard Hills Farm, we believe every dog deserves to grow up as part of a family. Our Guardian Home Program allows us to continue building our program while giving each of our dogs the individual attention, love, and home life they deserve.
As a guardian family, you receive one of our carefully selected puppies to raise as your own. Your dog lives with you full-time and is a permanent part of your family, while Howard Hills Farm retains breeding rights for a limited period of time.
Guardian families get the opportunity to welcome an exceptional puppy into their home at no cost while also becoming an important part of what we do at Howard Hills Farm.
When your dog's time in our program is complete, we cover the cost of their spay or neuter, and full ownership is transferred to you.
Is a Guardian Home Right for You?
Guardian families should:

Live within 1-1.5 hours of Howard Hills Farm

Provide a safe, loving, permanent home

Have a secure yard and appropriate space for a dog

Keep the dog current on routine veterinary care

Maintain regular grooming and overall care

Be available to bring the dog to Howard Hills Farm when needed

Keep us updated and maintain good communication

Agree to the terms of our Guardian Home contract
